Single tiles 18” x 7” tiles mounted on shiny black wood

This was a special project—inspired by the concept of learning to knit from my mother who, in turn, had learned from her mother, this was a patchwork of knitted or sewn squares made by my friends and family members that I paired with a Japanese Maple tile mural. Life is a patchwork of love and creativity, for which I am grateful.
